Mastering After Effects

As recently posted on my 'Work' page, I am developing my skills in Adobe After Effects to produce a 25 second ident for the Digital Cinema Media company as part of the D&AD 2014 New Blood Awards, using the brief for a college module. I shall be using my blog as a digital catalogue for any tutorials or articles regarding technique, tools and methods.

To This Day

Some people think Facebook is a place for us adolescents to waste our lives, but between the likes and comments there are "groups" and "pages" full of inspiration from Design to Health; and nestled within the "vines"and pictures, I fell across this beautifully designed, heart wrenching and thought provoking video about children, the education system and "beauty".

Yet, Russian designer Oleg Tarasov has broken the rules, recreating a selection of famous brands using the dreaded Comic Sans.. To love or to loath is the question?
